Yusuf A. Hasan received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in Michigan. From 2006, he was an engineer at a Fortune 500 corporation where he led multidisciplinary technical teams in the assembly, test, and validation of experimental and developmental gas turbine engine technology across North America and Europe. His experience further includes analyzing and applying International Trade Compliance regulations to the export of commodities and technical data. While working as an engineer, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Currently, he practices intellectual property law in Greenville, South Carolina, where he advises clients nationwide regarding patent, trademark, and copyright issues.
Mr. Hasan’s volunteer experience includes serving with the Muslim Coalition of Connecticut and volunteering through the National Society of Black Engineers. He is also an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Greenville County Bar Association. He currently serves legal counsel on the Advisory Board of Doctors Worldwide USA.
